My First Business Lab.

A pretend market stall that turns one idea into a business plan. Students pick something to sell, count the costs, set a price, plan the profit, and decide how much to save, reinvest and give. One packet for every grade, K–12.

Read the guide first: about 15 minutes, and it covers every band.

03 — Before you ask

The questions we actually get.

Anything missing? Email info@wealthwisekids.org.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every packet, the guide, the examples, the certificate and the family version are free to download. No account, no email.

Do students need real money?

No. It's a pretend market with given prices; nothing is bought or sold. K–2 uses play coins, printed in the packet.

How long does it take?

K–2 takes one session, 3–5 two, 6–8 two or three, and 9–12 three. The facilitator guide has shorter versions for every band.

Can we run a real sale afterward?

Only under your school's rules for real sales. The project is the practice round, and it works best as pretend: every student can take part.

What if a family can't give?

Giving can be time, help or an item, and it's always a choice. No student is ever asked to donate.

Can I use it at home?

Yes. The family version runs at a kitchen table in 20 to 40 minutes, with a no-printer option.
