WealthWise Kids · For parents

What we collect about your child

Written in plain English, not legal language. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will answer directly: info@wealthwisekids.org

The short version

We measure decisions, not children.

Our programs are built to see whether a child’s financial decisions change over time. That works on patterns across thousands of anonymous choices. It has never required us to know who your child is.

If your family uses WealthWise Kids at home

We collect nothing about your child.

  • No account for your child
  • No login, no email address, no name
  • No FLIQ Score
  • Nothing stored

The only thing we gather is your feedback, as the parent, in your own words. If we ever offer measurement to families, it will be opt-in, you will see your own child’s profile, and you will be able to delete it at any time. We will never turn it on by default.

If your child uses WealthWise Kids through a school

Choices, stored against a random ID.

Schools use our programs to see whether financial education is changing student behavior, and to report that to their board or a funder.

What we collect
Choices made inside the activities — for example, whether a student spent or saved in a simulation. Those choices are what a FLIQ Score™ is built from. We do not collect anything about who your child is, only what they decided.
What we do not collect
We do not ask children for personal information. Children are never the account holder. No email addresses, no photographs, no free text about themselves, no location.
How it is stored
Against a randomly generated ID, not a name. We hold what choice was made, not who made it.
Who sees it
The school, and you. Nobody else, ever.
How long we keep it
24 months, or until you or the school asks us to delete it, whichever comes first.

Our commitments

Things we will never do.

We will never sell your child’s data.
Not to anyone, at any price.
We will never share it.
Outside your school and your family, nobody sees it.
We run no advertising.
And no third-party trackers on anything a child touches.
We will never market to your child.
Their data is not used to sell them anything, ever.

Your rights, and how to use them

See it
Ask us what we hold about your child and we will tell you.
Delete it
Ask, and we delete it within 30 days. You do not have to give a reason.
Opt out
In any family setting, measurement is off unless you switch it on.

Email info@wealthwisekids.org and put Data request in the subject line.

The law, briefly

Why school and home are different.

COPPA, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, governs collecting information from children under 13. Where a school uses our programs, the school gives consent on behalf of parents, which is how COPPA is designed to work in classrooms. Where a family uses our programs directly that does not apply, so we ask the parent, or we collect nothing at all.

FERPA protects student records held by schools. It applies to our school partnerships. It does not cover homeschool families, which is exactly why our family default is to collect nothing.

This notice is written for parents. The formal legal disclosures, including our COPPA, FERPA and SOPIPA positions, are on the legal notices page. Last updated September 2026. WealthWise Kids is a product of Wealth Wise Kids LLC, Atlanta, Georgia.
