A WealthWise Kids program
WealthWise Kids Adventures™
A line of illustrated children's books, for ages 5 to 14, that teaches financial literacy inside a story rather than as a lesson.
In production — not open to read yet
The books are still being made. adventures.wealthwisekids.org currently shows a coming-soon page with an email list, and nothing is on sale. Anyone who wants to know when it opens can leave an address there.
Every book follows the Magpyes, a crew of neighborhood kids, and carries two layers at once: the story a child reads, and the economic situation a grown-up recognizes underneath it. A child is not told they are learning about money.
Adventures is the reading channel of WealthWise Kids. It is not a curriculum and it is not a game. The curriculum is Financial Foundations, and the games come out of PlayLab — Adventures is books.

What is WealthWise Kids Adventures?
A line of illustrated children's books for ages 5 to 14 that teaches financial literacy inside a story. Every book follows the Magpyes, a crew of neighborhood kids, and works on two levels at once — an adventure for the child and an economic situation for the adult reading along.
Is it a curriculum?
No. Adventures is books. The WealthWise Kids curriculum is a separate program called Financial Foundations, which is licensed to schools.
Will the books be free?
Reading in a browser is intended to be free when the library opens. Printed copies are sold separately.
Who are the Magpyes?
The crew of neighborhood kids the series follows. It is spelled with a Y, not as Magpies, and they are children rather than birds.
What can I use right now instead?
The free printable worksheets on wealthwisekids.org, Kindergarten through grade 12, each with a teacher answer page and no sign-up. The $100 Week, a free five-day browser simulation, is also open.
