WealthWise Kids™ is an Atlanta-based K–12 financial literacy platform that teaches money judgment, lets students practice it, and measures whether it changed. Its programs include the Financial Foundations™ curriculum, The $100 Week™ simulation, PlayLab™, WWK Adventures™, and Real-World Pathways™, unified by the FLIQ Score™, a behavioral measure read from the decisions students make rather than the facts they recall. Schools, districts, and community organizations run the programs through iMPACT Partners™. Learn more at wealthwisekids.org.

Founder

Michael Olaiya is the founder of WealthWise Kids. Martha’s Table, the Washington, D.C. nonprofit that fed and tutored him as a child, put him on payroll in the sixth grade; by his teens he was a camp counselor there, teaching and mentoring dozens of children while still enrolled in the program himself. He co-founded a public charter school in Atlanta and chaired its board for six years, and is a founding board member and former chair of The Carter & Olay Foundation. The platform is built on what that first room taught him: children take money seriously when the stakes feel real, and what they do with it tells you far more than what they can recite.

Financial Foundations™

A K–12 financial literacy curriculum in four grade bands (K–2, 3–5, 6–8, 9–12): 24 units, 266 lessons, fully scripted for the facilitator, with student packs, family letters, and hands-on projects.

The $100 Week™

A free five-day browser simulation in which a student manages $100 through everyday decisions. No account, no download. It is the opener for every WealthWise Kids pilot.

FLIQ Score™

A behavioral measure of financial judgment, read from the decisions a student makes inside WealthWise Kids experiences rather than from a quiz. Reported to educators and leaders as a band and a number; never shown as a ranking to a child.

PlayLab™

Short decision games and hands-on activities that let students practice a money concept before it is measured.

WWK Adventures™

Illustrated stories in which the Magpyes™, six children, and Milo Peregrine™, a blue owl, meet money problems the way children actually meet them.

Real-World Pathways™

Career exploration and workplace experiences for older students, in partnership with employers and community organizations.

iMPACT Partners™

The facilitator certification and delivery program through which schools, nonprofits, and community organizations run WealthWise Kids programs with their own people.
